Agile is an iterative and incremental approach to managing projects, every iteration delivering a complete, working subset of the final project. In Agile project management each iteration is a set of steps comprising requirement analysis, design, development, testing, implementation and integration – it is based on skilled improvisation rather than extensive planning and documentation. This book has describes the basic principles of Agile project management and shows how it differs from the conventional project management approach. There are chapters on: A case for Agile; Agile methods; Scrum (an Agile software methodology) demystified; Conventional vs. Agile project management; A business case for Agile project management; and Trends, camps and collisions. |
