This book draws on over 15 years of the author’s experience with Scrum. In it he has gathered together the problems that his clients have faced over the years and the advice he has given. There are five parts to the book. It begins with advice on getting started. Part 2 looks at individuals and the changes each will need to make in order to adopt Scrum. Part 3 expands to look at teams and how they can best be structured to achieve the benefits of Scrum. Expanding again, Part 4 focuses on the organisation and looks at multi-team projects. The last part summarises the various approaches to measuring how far an organisation has come in becoming agile and encourages the reader to make continuous improvement. The book is for readers who understand the basics of Scrum and who want either to introduce it to their organisation or to get better at it themselves. |
