Manga are comics originally published in Japan. This book presents Calculus in graphic novel form, making it easier to learn as it gives visual data presented as an animation – a cartoon guide to calculus. Noriko is a junior reporter whose maths- minded boss teaches her how to analyse news stories with a mathematical eye. She learns how to use differentiation, apply the fundamental theory of calculus, integrate and differentiate trigonometric functions, use multivariate calculus and partial differentiation, and use Taylor expansions. |
