Bionanodesign (or bioinspired nanoscale design) is a review of current approaches to designing nanostructures that employ naturally-derived self-assembling motifs as synthetic platforms. The aim is to gather the existing understanding of the rules that govern biomolecular self-assembly into a guide to molecular technology. The book has three main chapters, focusing on three prominent topics of applied nanotechnology where the role of nanodesign is predominant: Recycling hereditary: Recaging within; and Reassembling multiple. |
