With new potential applications, the theory of special functions is permanently under development, especially in connection with modern computer algebra methods. This book contains mainly new results, with some known formulae included for completeness. Much of the book is devoted to formulae of connection and conversion for elementary and special functions, especially hypergeometric and Meijer G functions. There are chapters on: the derivatives; limits; indefinite integrals; definite integrals; finite sums; infinite series; the connection formulae; and representations of hypergeometric functions and of the Meijer G function. |
