| Review: | The object of this book is to bring together number theorists with an interest in problems concerned with polynomials. The book is referred to as the proceedings of a workshop of the same name that took place at Bristol University on 3-7 April 2006, however it is not intended to be a record of the meeting and in some ways is a development of the meeting. Some of the articles were the direct result of questions and ideas raised at the meeting while other talks were not represented by papers and some papers were extensive than the corresponding talks. Many papers were of an expository or survey form. All papers were subject to a peer review process. The workshop was sponsored by the Heilbronn Institute for Mathematical Research, and there are 19 papers presented in the book. |
