This book is aimed at intermediate JavaScript developers who want to take their JavaScript skills to the next level without sacrificing Web accessibility or best practice. It begins by looking at HTML tables and has chapters on: creating client-side badges (third party data – image thumbnails, links etc.); creating vector graphics on canvas; debugging and profiling with Firebug (a plug-in for the Firefox browser); metaprogramming with JavaScript; building a 3D maze with CSS and JavaScript; and Flickr and Google Maps mashups (combining the photo-management site Flickr with Google Maps). There is a website to support the book. |
