Here the author first explores what needs to be done to control tobacco control, then shows how the principles of public health advocacy can be applied to tobacco control. The book is divided into two parts. The first addresses what needs to be done in the 21st century to arrest smoking and the diseases caused by it, with the goal of reducing the risk to whole populations.
