Here Liz Moulton provides a modern approach to consultation skills for any health professional working in primary care (GPs, nurses etc.). The book is in two sections. Part 1 looks in detail at the various components of the consultation and examines the tools and skills that can be used to make consultations more effective and efficient. Part 2 describes the educational tools that can be used to improve consultations: using video; random case analysis; problem case debriefing and feedback. The appendices provide a list of ‘jargon’ and some useful forms. |
