Competition to acquire a position as a pre-registration pharmacist is keen as more and more pharmacy students graduate. This book begins by giving tips on how to apply for pre-registration posts and on general interview techniques. This is followed by a vast array of questions that have faced students in the past, aimed at stimulating the reader’s though processes. Model answers are provided to some of the questions. There are chapters on: summer placements; where and how to apply; the application process; what employers are looking for; how to conduct yourself on the day; what to do if it all goes wrong; and reading up for the interviews. There are also example CVs and covering letters. |
