Review: This book provides a tutorial on the basic techniques and algorithms in adaptive control. It aims to serve readers on a number of levels. Practising engineers with insufficient background to follow the proofs can learn how to design, stimulate and implement parameter estimators and adaptive control schemes without having to understand the proofs fully.
