This book provides a revision guide for those preparing to sit for a multiple choice questions (MCQs) examination in pharmacy. It enables the student to assess themselves and validate what they know. There are 600 examination-type MCQs to assess one’s knowledge, evaluative and analytical skills. The questions in the first part of the book are ‘open-book’ to assess the student’s ability to apply their knowledge in conjunction with information sources. The second part is ‘closed-book’ and is directed towards basic skills and knowledge. The question cover general pharmaceutical practice interventions and operations and other topics, such as simple pharmaceutical calculations, doses, strengths, nomenclature, abbreviations, dosage forms, specialities, trade and generic names, biochemical tests, classification, side-effects, and common diseases. |
