These are the papers from the Sixth European Conference on Structural Dynamics (EURODYN ’05), held in Paris in September 2005. The three large volumes contain the papers covering all major areas of structural dynamics. The first volume has papers from sessions on: ambient vibration and dynamic characterization; dynamic in offshore engineering; experimental methods and structural monitoring; large bridge aerodynamics and aeroelastic phenomena; man-induced vibrations and relate serviceability problems; multibody dynamics with flexible elements; prediction of traffic vibration; recent advances in stochastic dynamics and applications; and reliability of dynamic systems. Volume 2 covers: earthquake engineering; uncertain dynamical systems; uncertainty quantification and model validation; vibration of bridges; vibration of structural elements; vibroacoustics and industrial applications; dynamic soil–structure interaction; fluid–structure interaction; impulse loading and impact dynamics; information technology in earthquake engineering; and nonlinear dynamics. The last volume includes: active and passive control in structural dynamics; bridge engineering; computational methods in dynamics; dynamical behaviour and damage of materials; earthquake engineering; identification of dynamical systems and inverse problems; mechanical engineering; nonlinear dynamics; railway and highway track dynamics; stochastic dynamics and random vibrations; theory of dynamics and vibrations; and wind engineering. |
