These are the proceedings of the conference held in Dubrovnik in May 2004. Remote sensing, through not an overall methodology, is a valuable tool in helping to tackle and solve many scientific, technical, social and environmental problems in the enlarged EU. The 88 papers from researchers from 27 European countries are arranged into group topics: World heritage Sites; forest fires; alpine remote sensing; temporal series analysis; forestry; oceanography; land degradation; data fusion; high resolution data; 3D remote sensing; remote sensing of the coastal zone; environment and ecology; geological hazards; urban remote sensing; and instruments and methods. |
