These are papers from the second international conference on the Periodic Table, held in memory of Harry Weiner, in Canada in July 2003; they provide an overview of current research into the broad field of Periodic table studies. Among other topics the book contains chapters on the early history and development of the Periodic table, the theoretical foundations of the Table, some pedagogical aspects of the Table, the future of the table, and a brief excursion into non-elemental Periodic Tables. |
