Review: This is a new edition of the widely-used second-year student textbook, Further Engineering Mathematics.The book comprises 23 programmes, each of which covers a separate topic: Laplace transforms; Fourier series, partial differentiation, matrix algebra, vector analysis, etc. Each chapter gives the theory with instructions and exercises so that the student can test themselves as they go. At the end of each chapter is a revision summary and a checklist to test how much of the topic the reader has retained. There are also test exercises and further problems (with answers at the back of the book).
