These are the proceedings of the conference held in France in September 2004. The aim of the conference was to provide a forum for experts from the automotive industry, the heavy duty and small engine sectors, fuel companies, additive markets, OEM suppliers and R&D organizations to discuss the potential of the new generation of fuels and energy conversion in engines. The book is divided into five parts, beginning with ‘The future of liquid fuels’. The other parts cover engine and fuel-related issues in HCCI and CAI solutions; energy conversion in engines from natural gases; the use of hydrogen in IC engines; and which fuels to chose for CO2> engines. |
