Review: This readable book includes six amusing tales. They explain the nature and scale of the Universe, the stars and the galaxies, spacetime and gravity, how the Universe came about, and the life and fate of stars. In the first tale, ‘The prince and the p’, Prince Kevin goes on a quest to find the true nature of motion. ‘Snow White and the particularly little people’ explains the nature of matter. ‘Ali Gori and the cave of night’ describes the extent and variety of the Universe. ‘Jack and the starstalk’ deals with spacetime and gravity. ‘Waking beauty’ covers the Big Bang and after; and Cinderella and the death of stars’ looks at the life and fate of stars. The ‘Epilogue ‘ comes to an inconclusive conclusion.
