Psychological science in China has undergone great changes: during the cultural revolution (1966-1976) it was suspended as a scientific discipline. It has only been restablished since the late 1970s. This issue includes six papers given at the Congress of Psychology held in Beijing in 2004. The papers cover the fields of developmental psychology, Chinese mathematics and language learning, cognitive neuroscience, biopsychology, and managerial competency modelling and organizational psychology. |
