These are the 25 papers and the summaries from the conference held in June 2002. The aim of the conference was to encourage measures for a more sustainable conception of agriculture in Europe, taking into account the ecological imperatives and, more especially, the biodiversity of landscape conservation. The sessions covered: the status of biodiversity and the impact of agricultural policies; the agricultural sector and trends society’s expectations in the context of globalisation; sustainable agricultural policies promoting: biological diversity in use of instruments, measures and means of appropriate institutional and international cooperation. |
