Throughout the centuries, building materials have accounted for the use of the greatest quantity of raw materials. In Holland, the land is flat, it has few mineral sources for primary natural building materials, and the population is large. All these facts have led the Dutch Government to concentrate on construction and demolition waste (CDW) material reuse. This book looks at the ‘chain’ management of the materials through all stages of the cycle #150; from the use of primary and secondary materials, through the construction and demolition processes, the processing of demolition material and their applications, and the use of residue material. |
