This well-illustrated book gives ten complementary and occasionally overlapping versions of an ecological city. The aim is to provide a ‘factor 20’ increase in the city’s environmental efficiency by the year 2040. This represents a 95 per cent reduction in environmental impact. These are just random examples; the impressions are intended to be a source of inspiration to those involved in construction projects, local authorities, developers, urban planners, architects, contractors, and future residents. |
