This book contains 139 papers from the 28th Symposium on Compound Semiconductors, held in Tokyo in 2001. The conference covered every aspect of compound semiconductors, including growth, processing, devices, ICs, and applications. It also dealt with the IIIV based compounds such as GaAs, InP and GaN, IIVVI compounds, such as ZnSe and ZnS, and IV and IV materials such as SiC and SiGe. The papers are grouped according to subject into: electronic devices; optical devices; magnetic materials; novel systems; quantum transport; optical characterization; quantum nanostructures; and material growth and characterization. |
