The authors aim to provide both novice and experienced analysts with a fundamental understanding of the chromatography techniques that are commonly used in general analysis and to give a practical guidance in the many analytical procedures that are employed. The first part of the book gives an introduction to quantitative chromatographic analysis, including sample collection, transport and storage, sample preparation, the chromatography detector, and processing the chromatographic data. The next two parts look at gas and liquid chromatographic analysis in detail. The last part covers thin-layer chromatography. |
