This is Volume 21 in the series of advances in modern electroanalytical chemistry. There are three chapters in this book. The first discusses template-synthesized nanomaterials in electrochemistry. This method of preparing nanomaterials entails synthesizing the desired material within the pores of a porous membrane or other solid. The second chapter deals with electrochemical atomic layer epitaxy. It looks at the basic limits to electrodeposition as a method of forming high-quality compound thin films. Chapter 3 describes the operation and utility of scanning tunnelling microscopy (STM) as a technique for probing the structure and dynamics of metal electrode surfaces.. |
