Review: This beautifully illustrated atlas provides good-quality colour photographs of constellations alongside star maps of the same scene. The stars and other bodies can therefore be accurately located. The photographs of the constellations are all to the same scale (taken with the same focal-length lens) to avoid any confusion to the reader. Each map and photograph is accompanied by information on the constellation, including details of the brightest stars, variable stars, double stars, asterism, planetary nebulae, galaxies, and global clusters, where relevant.
