The aim of this book is to provide a guide for students studying for sleep medicine board examinations. To this end, the first part of the book goes over the major points with a synopsis of sleep, highlights of sleep neuroscience, sleep physiology, insomnia, excessive sleepiness, the medication effects of sleep, and the polysomnographic technique (the recording analysis and interpretation of multiple, simultaneous physiologic parameters). The second, and main, part of the book provides mock exam multiple-choice questions to enable students to practice. There is an answer key at the end of the book. |
